The well known television series about Colditz was made in the seventies and was firstly broadcasted in the United Kingdom. Shortly after it could be watched in other countries as well, thus making Colditz known all over the world. The series consists of 28 episodes and the theme music for the series was written by Robert Farnon (1917-2005).
